Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Group Class Instructor to support our community fitness center in Westlake, TX. This flexible substitute role teaches on an as-needed basis, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable and creating a positive, energetic experience for participants.

Responsibilities include providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise (dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit) to members. Certifications and CPR/First Aid are required before start date.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited certification.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.

Responsibilities

This flexible substitute instructor role offers the opportunity to teach on an as-needed basis, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable and helping create a positive, energetic experience for participants.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $45 - $50/class.

The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
