The Group Account Support Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating sales strategies and operations to drive business growth. Key focus will be developing targeted initiatives and ensuring seamless execution that leads to measurable business growth. Key focus area will be ensuring cross-Business Unit collaboration and shaping a compelling value proposition aligned with our One Hitachi account plan.

Responsibilities:

  1. In conjunction with the Global Account Manager (GAM) develop and execute focused account plans and strategies ensuring a deep understanding of the customer needs which provides measurable outcomes and drives business growth.
  2. Monitor and drive the effectiveness of account plans. This will entail understanding of the sales constraints, deploying corrective actions to improve performance.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Units (BU’s) and Account Team to understand value propositions and strengthen our position. This would include gathering market data, reference cases, segment data and preparing documentation that strengthens our position.
  4. Build comprehensive player maps in conjunction with Account team to understand customer decision making environment. Support growth of player maps through effective engagement with Account Team and Marketing.
  5. Cross functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing and segments teams to align on joint account activities and deploy initiatives. This will include reporting on success stories and driving targeted segment approach.
  6. Account Onboarding – Deploy Account Planning workshops that enable understanding of targeted value proposition, enable functioning of One-Hitachi Account Team and help with the settings for detailed account plan.
  7. Program Governance and Reporting- Initiative capturing, review and program governance by adhering to sales operations processes and cadence program.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in either Engineering or Business
  2. Experience in Sales & Marketing, either as an Account Manager, Sales Program execution or Sales Support Specialist
  3. Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally
  4. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  5. Strong analytical and ability to build relationships.
  6. Willingness and openness to travel up to 15%
  7. Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all time zones

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, subject to the program’s conditions and restriction.
