This is a senior-level advertising agency role, leading digital campaigns for key accounts. The Digital Group Account Director collaborates across all agency teams to support client objectives, ensure strategic campaign development and execution, and drive growth opportunities.
While this is a remote position, periodic travel and meeting outside one's time zone is expected.
What does a Digital Group Account Director do at Rain the Growth Agency?
- Serve as the account lead for assigned accounts with a digital-first focus.
- Provide steady, strategic leadership through all phases of planning and execution, including strategy, digital media planning, creative development, and performance measurement.
- Guide clients through the development, launch, and optimization of integrated digital campaigns.
- Partner with internal agency teams including digital media, creative, and analytics experts, while ensuring seamless coordination with offline teams.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to optimize cross-channel digital media performance by collaborating with channel leads and vetting new partners/vendors.
- Establish client goals and budgets, activating agency teams to deliver against them.
- Focus on performance: evaluate results, develop testing and optimization strategies, and share insights with clear next steps.
- Act as a strategic thinker, problem solver, and team leader to maximize opportunities for client success.
- Stay current on digital marketing and media trends with a focus on our Transactional Brand Building approach.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of all agency outputs and communications.
- Identify new growth opportunities in partnership with agency SMEs.
- Lead client meetings, presenting results, insights, and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
- Lead integrated cross-channel digital campaigns
- Experienced in planning and managing cross-channel campaigns including display, programmatic, OTT/digital video, paid social, paid search, and influencer marketing.
- Expertise in DTC campaign management with a strong focus on measurable results.
- Deep understanding of the full-funnel digital media approach and channel-specific KPIs.
- Thrive on driving performance through testing, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate expertise in client business strategy and the evolving digital landscape.
- Own client health, proactively addressing issues or opportunities related to finance, campaign performance, delivery, or staffing.

- Experience leading full-funnel media campaigns across CTV/OTT, Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic, and Influencer channels.
- Willingness to go above and beyond for client needs, including travel as required.
