XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson/Tree Groundsman in Seattle, WA to support crews during storm restoration work. You will clear brush and branches from ground level, handle logs and debris, and assist with equipment setup and site cleanup.
Responsibilities include following safety rules, operating hand and gas-powered tools, and coordinating with the Foreperson. This is a union‑represented, on‑site role requiring travel during storms and adherence to PPE and background checks.

Pay or shift range: $30 USD to $31 USD. This is an estimated pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.
Travel Required: Yes. Travel is required during storm restoration work when needed.
The Groundsperson supports the crew by performing work from the ground including clearing brush and trees as directed, and performing clean‑up on each job site. Candidates will be dispatched by IBEW.
Groundspersons have no direct reports.
Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
