Job summary

Riggs Tree Service is seeking hardworking, safety-driven field operators to join our ROW vegetation management crew in Oklahoma. You’ll operate chainsaws and chippers, set up traffic control, and support a fast-paced crew on active job sites.

We hire for experience, not entry-level. Expect rigorous safety practices, physical outdoor work in all weather, and opportunities to advance to operator, climber, or leadership roles as you prove performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and/or chippers preferred.
• Strong understanding of job site safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to recognize hazards and think ahead in fast-moving environments.
• Team-first mindset with ability to take direction and execute.
• First Aid/CPR is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support chainsaws and chippers in active job site conditions.
• Assist with tree felling, limbing, brush handling, and debris processing.
• Set up and maintain traffic control zones and safe work areas.
• Establish and maintain drop zones for cutting operations.
