Job summary

Riggs Tree Service, LLC. is seeking skilled field operators to support ROW vegetation management. You will work in active sites, using chainsaws and chippers to process debris, while maintaining safety standards and efficient crew workflow.

This demanding role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow safety procedures, and strong teamwork to keep projects on time and under control in varied outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and/or chippers preferred.
• Strong understanding of job site safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support chainsaws and chippers in active job site conditions.
• Assist with tree felling, limbing, brush handling, and debris processing.
• Set up and maintain traffic control zones and safe work areas.
• Establish and maintain drop zones for cutting operations.
• Drag, stack, and feed brush safely and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with operators, climbers, and supervisors.
