Xylem Tree Experts in Georgia is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based tasks such as clearing brush and preparing sites. A valid driver’s license may be required and travel is involved.
Responsibilities include following safety practices, loading materials, operating hand tools and small machinery, and assisting with storm restoration work as needed. This role requires physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
The Groundsperson supports the crew by performing work from the ground including clearing brush and trees as directed, and performing clean-up on each job site. Driver's license may be required.
Groundspersons have no direct reports.
Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
This position requires employees to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
