Job summary

Riggs Tree Service is seeking skilled field operators to support the crew on demanding right-of-way vegetation projects. You will work with chainsaws and chippers, keeping operations moving safely and efficiently at active job sites.

Our team prioritizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and a strong work ethic. You will set up traffic control zones, assist with tree felling and debris processing, and help maintain quality standards and productive workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and/or chippers preferred.
• Strong safety mindset with PPE knowledge and daily briefings.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support chainsaws and chippers in active job site conditions.
• Assist with tree felling, limbing, brush handling, and debris processing.
• Set up and maintain traffic control zones and safe work areas.
• Establish and maintain drop zones for cutting operations.
