Job summary

SavATree in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a General Tree Care team member to perform pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and other essential tree care tasks on a variety of properties.

You will operate chainsaws, rigging, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively, apply climbing and pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety, and deliver outstanding client service while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver\u2019s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Interest in learning climbing without spurs and identifying species.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with crew to prune, remove, cabling, bracing, and other essential tree care tasks.
• Safely operating chainsaws, rigging, and other specialized equipment.
• Applying climbing and pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety.
• Providing excellent service to clients on a variety of properties.
• Learning and applying proper safety protocols and industry best practices.

About You

• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
• A desire to work outdoors and a passion for tree care
• A willingness to learn how to climb trees without spurs, prune effectively, and identify native and introduced species
• Interest in mastering chainsaw operation and equipment handling
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
  

Physical Requirements

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
