Job summary

Southern Management Companies in Hillcrest Heights, MD is seeking a Grounds Person for a full-time role to maintain the exterior and common areas of our community. The position requires hands-on upkeep, trash removal, and basic safety checks while delivering friendly service to residents and teammates.

You will perform daily grounds inspections, assist with turnover as needed, and coordinate with management to keep lawns, sidewalks, and building exteriors clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all community common areas in accordance with internal quality control standards.
• Ensure sidewalks, parking areas, and building interiors are free of trash and debris.
• Perform daily audits of community grounds and report findings to management.
• Assist with apartment turnover process, as needed.
• Test smoke detectors in all vacant apartments.
• Maintain positive relationships with all team members and customers.
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

We're seeking a Grounds Person with a can-do-attitude to join our team! In this fulltime role, you will ensure that the physical asset is maintained and in excellent operational condition. 7:30AM TO 4:30PM.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're seeking a Grounds Person with whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will ensure that the physical asset is maintained in good condition and that everything is clean and sanitary. In addition, the Grounds Person is responsible for keeping an inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting requests when supplies get low.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
