Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Tree Groundsman or in a similar role is preferred.
• Physical strength and fitness, plus good vision and hearing.
• Ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel and stoop as part of job tasks.
• Able to transport heavy items and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist arborists with tree removals and pruning.
• Set up and operate rope systems to lower limbs safely.
• Operate tools like chippers and chainsaws for tasks.
• Keep work sites clean, organized and hazard-free.
• Report safety issues to Foreman and follow regulations.
