We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks, from lawn care to tree trimming, and requires a strong understanding of grounds maintenance practices. Duties:

- Perform routine tree care tasks, including pruning and hauling debris

- Trim trees and shrubs to maintain a neat and well-maintained health as directed.

- Operate a bucket truck to ensure proper tree care

- Utilize GIS mapping to identify areas that require maintenance

- Maintain grounds equipment and vehicles to ensure proper function

- Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities

- Collaborate with other grounds maintenance workers to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks

- Participate in seasonal landscape maintenance tasks, including planting and harvesting

- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

- Prior experience in grounds maintenance, preferably with experience in tree trimming

- Familiarity with bucket truck operation and rig maintenance

- Knowledge of GIS mapping and its applications in grounds maintenance

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Experience in garden maintenance and landscaping

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Valid driver's license

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols

- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor

- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as needed

- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
