Golfview Village Apartments is actively interviewing for an Experienced Groundskeeper to join our team for year-round, permanent work with growth opportunities in the multifamily industry. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 8-5; Wed 6:30 am - 3:30 pm; on call for snow season.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for curb appeal, landscape upkeep, and exterior image, including cleaning driveways, flowerbeds, and common areas, with snow removal duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment.
• General irrigation knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Be able to provide great customer service to residents.
• Ability to work in seasonal weather (heat and/or cold).

Responsibilities

• Daily trash removal from all public exterior areas.
• Lawn mowing, trimming, edging.
• Seasonal cleanup of flower beds, raking, aerating, fertilizing.
• Care and inventory of supplies/equipment owned by property/management.
• Light/basic tree and bush trimming.
• Irrigation monitoring, clock setting, repair, maintenance.
• Snow removal (on-call duties).
• Assist maintenance staff as needed.

PURPOSE OF GROUNDSKEEPER:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for “Curb Appeal” the overall upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image. Duties include cleaning of the driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, or any other public areas; maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas; snow removal. (This role is oncall for snow removal)

GROUNDSKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for daily trash removal from all public exterior areas to include but not limited to dumpster areas, driveways, parking lots, curbs, exterior hallways, playgrounds
• Performs lawn mowing, trimming, edging
• Seasonal cleanup of flower beds, raking, aerating, fertilizing etc.
• Responsible for care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work
• Responsible for light/basic tree and bush trimming
• Irrigation monitoring,clock setting, repair, and maintenance
• Snow removal (Including oncall duties)
• Performs tasks to assist maintenance staff as requested, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections
• Issues pet violation notices in accordance with MIMG policy

GROUNDSKEEPER EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment
• General irrigation knowledge or willing to learn preferred
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
• Ability to work in seasonal weather (heat and/or cold)
