Presbyterian Living is seeking a Groundskeeper for Lake Forest Place in Lake Forest, IL. The role is full-time within the Facilities Department, with an 8am–4pm schedule, Monday through Friday.

The position offers an hourly wage based on experience and requires maintaining grounds, edging, and seasonal maintenance to keep landscapes healthy and attractive. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in groundskeeping, a High School diploma or GED, and strong English language skills to communicate with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of Groundskeeping experience.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, trimming, raking, and watering lawns and landscaped areas.
• Availability outside regular work hours may be required for snow and ice removal.
• Perform routine edging of garden beds and walkways to keep borders clean and defined.
• Fertilize soil and landscaped areas to promote healthy plant growth.
• Water flowers, shrubs, and other greenery using irrigation systems or manual methods as needed.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and flower beds to maintain appearance and plant health.
