Peak Living is seeking a qualified Groundskeeper to join our team!

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Groundskeeper maintains all outdoor areas in a safe, attractive condition. Hours vary based on community needs and may include weekends and after-hours emergency services.

Responsibilities
  • Walk the property regularly, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings.
  • Perform trash-out duties at vacated apartments.
  • Notify management of diseased or dead landscape plants.
  • Follow chemical or fertilizing postings and signs.
  • Transfer and dispose of trash outside of dumpsters, keep areas clean, and ensure dumpster doors are closed on windy days.
  • Regularly clean and maintain the property, including sidewalks, parking lots, and walkways, using blowers or sweepers.
  • Check and replace exterior lighting as needed.
  • Maintain pools and spas as directed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including window, screen, and door repairs.
  • Shovel snow, plow, and salt or use ice melt as necessary.
  • Clean laundry room areas if housekeeping is unavailable.
  • Follow safety precautions diligently.
  • Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways, and stairwells as needed.
  • Distribute resident communications such as notices and newsletters.
  • Support Peak Living's goals related to resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle tools and equipment safely, including wrenches, saws, ladders, and more.
