Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Laborer to safely perform general labor duties at a hauling site, transfer station, recycling center or landfill. Responsibilities include yard cleanup, fueling vehicles, operating light site equipment, and basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• General labor duties and safety compliance.
• Ability to operate light site equipment.
• Experience with yard work and cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean track on track type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment such as water trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
