Wild Adventures Theme Park seeks a diligent Park Maintenance Team Member to keep outdoor and indoor areas clean and safe. Responsibilities

• Maintain an aesthetically pleasing, sanitary environment indoors and outdoors.
• Clear walkways and streets of debris each morning with a backpack blower.
• Prepare parking areas by removing trash and debris from public spaces.
• Sweep park walkways and clean trashcans and benches.
• Assist with group events and daily operations as needed.
• Report unsafe conditions or required repairs to team lead/supervisor.
• Represent the company to guests in a positive, friendly manner.
• Perform duties in line with park policies and safety standards.

Job description

• Maintain an aesthetically pleasing, sanitary environment both indoors and outdoors in all guest view and back areas
• Ensure the walkways and streets are cleared of debris, leaves, and dirt each scheduled/operating morning by using a backpack blower
• Prepare parking lot and park for operation by removing all trash and debris from public areas, including walkways, trash receptacles, landscaped areas, etc.
• Sweep all park walkways and remove trash and debris from benches, tables, and landscaped areas
• Empty and wipe down all park trashcans
• Collect and empty refuse and recyclable material throughout the park and all buildings, discarding the materials in designated dumpsters or bins
• Follow all SDS guidelines for all products used
• Maintain clean work areas and storage closest areas
• Assist with group picnics/events as assigned
• Assist the Park Services Team Lead with daily, monthly, and yearly operations as necessary
• Report any unsafe actions or areas or any needed repairs to your team lead/ supervisor
• Work cooperatively with all departments and assist as necessary
• Perform all duties within quality and efficiency standards
• Maintain a groomed look and good personal hygiene, including wearing a clean WA uniform
• Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
• Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
• Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
• Satisfies Wild Adventure’s standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
• “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids and blood-borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight or rainy conditions
