Winterwood, Inc. Groundskeeper Job Description

Winterwood, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated and dependable Groundskeeper to join our team in the Richmond, KY area. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining attractive, orderly, and healthy community grounds. If you enjoy outdoor work and take pride in creating a welcoming environment, we encourage you to apply!

Position Details:

• Properties: Kit Carson Commons, 30 units; Eastern Scholar House, 39 units in Richmond, KY.
• Employment Type: Part-Time, 10 hours per week.
• Schedule: Two days a week, 5 hours per day.
• Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
• Sign-On Bonus: $250, payable on first paycheck. Rehires are eligible if separated for 1 year or more.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Some groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills and teamwork ability.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect grounds daily for repairs (gutters, roofing, HVAC, etc.).
• Maintain walkways, driveways, and common areas free of debris.
• Plant, weed, water flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal and leaf collection.
• Support maintenance work orders.
• Complete make-ready processes for vacant units, including repairs, cleaning, and painting.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a safe, pleasant environment.
