• Full time 40 hours
• Day shift
• Weekend rotations

Summary:

Under the direction of the manager, perform maintenance of grounds and landscaping at Baystate Medical Center to ensure a safe and appealing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform related duties as required, observing all health and safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness around hospital buildings, mow, trim, edge, and perform seasonal clean-up duties.
• Operate various tools, equipment, and vehicles including mowers, loaders, and trucks.
• Service and troubleshoot landscaping and snow removal equipment.
• Handle grounds issues, debris, biohazard waste, and recycling efforts.
• Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, trimming, and preparing soil.
• Assist with installation, repair, and renovation of structures and equipment.
• Maintain records of work performed, order supplies, and report issues to the supervisor.
• Perform snow removal and irrigation maintenance as needed.
• Ensure safety in operation of all equipment and adherence to protocols.

Required Work Experience: None

Preferred Work Experience: 3-5 years in professional landscaping, including working with decks.
