Woodruff Property Management Company in Columbus, GA is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of our community. This role focuses on keeping common areas, exteriors, vacant apartments, sidewalks, and parking areas in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of groundskeeping experience, basic maintenance skills, and a reliable work ethic. You will work independently and as part of the maintenance team, with opportunities for

Qualifications

1+ year of experience as a Groundskeeper/Porter.
Basic property maintenance skills (painting, pressure washing).
Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and be available for after-hours emergencies.
Dependability and strong work ethic are essential.
Reliable transportation to support property needs.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license with a clear Motor Vehicle Record.
Ability to work at other properties as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain community grounds, amenities, and parking areas to ensure a clean and attractive appearance.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by clearing out trash and assisting with make-ready tasks.
Perform general property maintenance, including pressure washing, painting, and trash removal.
Assist with light emergency maintenance as needed.
Work independently while following community standards for cleanliness and upkeep.
Support the maintenance team with additional tasks when necessary.
