Job summary

Yugo Cincinnati is seeking a Groundskeeper Porter to maintain grounds, clean common areas, and perform light maintenance. You will prepare vacant units, assist with turnover, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents across multiple properties in the region.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and comfort with technology. You may lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to online systems and use technology.
• Willingness to undertake Carbon Literacy Certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the property and daily upkeep of grounds.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Assist with property turnover tasks and support Turn Program during high-demand periods.
• Perform daily cleaning of common areas and model units to create a welcoming environment.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and communicate supply needs.
• Replace burnt-out light bulbs and minor maintenance needs.
• Safeguard assets and follow safety guidelines.
• Clean and maintain pool and spa areas where applicable and ensure safety standards.
• Adhere to company policies for safety and emergency procedures.
• May work near mechanical equipment or elevated heights and lift 50 pounds or more.
• Assist with additional maintenance and improvement projects.

As the Groundskeeper Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the community. This role includes daily upkeep of the grounds, cleaning common areas, and performing light maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents. By providing exceptional service, the Groundskeeper & Porter helps maintain the property’s overall value and quality.

Requirements

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, here’s what you’ll be doing!

• Maintain the cleanliness of the property, including daily upkeep of grounds, trash removal, and cleaning of common areas such as hallways and courtyards.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring appliances, windows, floors, and fixtures are in top condition for move-in.
• Assist with property turnover tasks and work closely with the Property Maintenance Manager to support the Turn Program during high-demand periods.
• Perform daily cleaning of community spaces, including the office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, and model units to create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Report any unusual conditions or maintenance issues on the property and communicate supply needs to the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Replace burnt-out light bulbs, broken fixtures, and other minor maintenance needs throughout the property, both inside and outside.
• Safeguard company assets such as buildings, tools, and equipment by ensuring proper handling and security.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, participate in safety training, and use required safety equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Clean and maintain pool and spa areas, if applicable, and ensure compliance with local certification and safety standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for maintenance tasks, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness.
• May occasionally work near mechanical equipment, at elevated heights, or around fumes and chemicals, and must be able to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more while working in varying weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
• Assist with additional maintenance, operational, and property improvement projects as needed to support community goals
