Job summary

Mission Rock Residential is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper in Clarksville, TN to maintain the property's exterior and common areas. You will inspect and clean breezeways, sidewalks, pool areas, and grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness for residents and visitors.

Ideal candidates bring prior porter experience, strong communication, and knowledge of standard grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and pressure washers.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Previous experience as a porter or similar function is preferred.
• Knowledge of using standard grounds maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, power blowers, and pressure washers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting the Service Manager and Property Manager immediately to items that need to be addressed.
• Use power blower and pressure washer to clean breezeways, steps, sidewalks, pool areas, and any other common areas.
• Maintain the property’s flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas.
• Pick up trash on the property and in common areas, including driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, exterior hallways, and all public areas.

What You’ll Do

The Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property are maintained by cleaning the common grounds of the property.

Your day-to-day may include:

The expected compensation range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
