Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep the community grounds and amenities in top condition and to support the service team in daily operations. This on-site role requires attention to detail and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, assisting with make-ready work, updating residents, and ensuring locks and pool gates meet safety standards. A valid driver’s license for golf-cart operation is required, and you may travel

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community to remove litter and debris and keeps common areas and amenities neat and litter-free.
• Removes trash from vacant apartments before make-ready, transfers trash to dumpster or storage area, and cleans storage areas.
• Completes minor and routine service requests as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager, assists the make-ready specialist in the turn process.
• Changes all locks per policy and ensures pool area gates function according to codes and safety standards.
• Distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary.
• Informs supervisors of hazards or potentially dangerous situations for residents and staff.
• Demonstrates customer service by respecting residents, answering questions, and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Complies with safety policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and related laws, and reporting accidents promptly.
