Sanford Health Grounds Maintenance Worker

Work Details

• Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Salary Range: $13.50 - $22.00

Department Summary

Responsible for maintaining the organization's grounds. Duties include outdoor property maintenance, snow removal, equipment work, and basic tree trimming.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with inside maintenance and construction work as needed.
• Maintain and repair sprinkler systems.
• Perform parking lot repairs, including cold patching and asphalt repairs.
• Assess grounds and assist with minor electrical work and general equipment maintenance.
• Operate equipment for dirt work and snow removal, such as bobcats, trucks, power brooms, etc.
• Use hand and power tools, and operate light and heavy machinery.
• Work on high equipment, such as lifts and ladders.
• Experience in parking ramp, lawn, and general maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade or vocational school courses in landscaping, horticulture, forestry, or park management are desirable.
• Six months of experience with lawn care equipment preferred.
• May require applicable State Commercial Applicators License or Certification.
• Depending on location, a valid driver’s license and compliance with medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers are required.
