Gorman & Company is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper/Light Maintenance Technician to join our team at Crosswinds at Arista, a 159-unit LIHTC housing community. Your Impact:

As a Groundskeeper/Light Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go-to for keeping our property running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:


  • Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance tasks, including lawn services, shrub and garden maintenance, insecticide spraying, and cleanup.

  • Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, installing, and/or maintaining fences.

  • Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Assist in the supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground equipment.

  • Complete corrective maintenance by completing service requests.

  • Assist with unit preparation, including painting, cleaning, repairing, and/or replacing appliances, plumbing, and/or electrical fixtures.

  • Emergency maintenance/On-Call when needed.



What You'll Bring:


  • Ability to work 20 hours per week.

  • Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.

  • Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance experience required.

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate lawn equipment.

  • Must be able to read work orders/service requests.

  • Good safety habits.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
