Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain our residential properties and support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. You will perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with make-readies as part of a collaborative maintenance team.

The role requires reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to work effectively with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in groundskeeping, caretaking or janitorial preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to assist with after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and climb stairs regularly.
• May require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Keep property and grounds clean by inspecting daily and removing trash.
• Maintain mail rooms: sweep floors, remove dated notices, etc.
• Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
• Replace first-floor window screens upon request.
• Assist with apartment make-readies: trash vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detectors.
• Clean air conditioning vents and replace filters in vacant apartments.
• Install, move, and hook up appliances.
• Replace air filters in occupied apartments.
• Clean pool area and straighten chairs.
• Perform light painting duties as directed.
• Clean vacant apartments between residents.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor or Technician as requested.
