• Keeps landscape and grounds free of debris, trash, branches and leaves, remove ice, empty trash receptacles, clean storm drains and ash urns.
• Apply chemicals to maintain the Institute's lawn, trees, shrubs, groundcover, and flowers.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Complete daily grounds maintenance reports.
• Train new employees in grounds keeping duties; promote safe working practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Serve as a lead capacity in performing general and specialized landscape and grounds maintenance activities to include plantings, chemical applications and equipment maintenance. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor and coworkers. This position typically will advise and counsel: grounds keeping personnel. This position will supervise: NA.
