Job summary

Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) in Provo, Utah is seeking a Groundskeeper II to maintain lawns, plantings, and related systems on-site. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with experience operating hand tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to operate a variety of hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow, rake, water, and fertilize lawns.
• Plant, transplant, water, fertilize, and trim flowers and shrubs.
• Assist with sprinkler systems maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• May apply chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides as needed.
• Supervise other groundskeepers in functional roles.
• Remove snow as required.
• Physical exertion is expected, including digging, lifting up to 50 lbs, crouching, and climbing.
