Job Summary

Groundskeeper II - Full-time with benefitsPCN# 000045Supports the educational process with specific responsibilities for providing grounds maintenance services at assign site(s). Ensures attractive and safe grounds areas and athletic fields. Responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of general and preventative maintenance tasks that provides students, employees and general public with environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient areas. Works under direction of supervisor, small crew, or may work independently.

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalentDemonstrate abilities of the Essential Functions, Knowledge and Abilities listed for position.Two (2) years experience of Groundskeeper I or equivalent (grounds maintenance and demonstrated ability to operate light duty grounds equipment, gardening and nursery work).Requires valid California driver’s License with proper endorsements.

Classified Salary Schedule #3; Range 19 ($19.91 - $26.69 per hr)
