Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company is hiring a Groundskeeper to maintain the property's exterior and common areas, assist with apartment make-readies, and help keep landscaping clean and inviting. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, strong attention to detail, and good customer service skills.

A valid driver’s license may be required, and after-hours emergencies may arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some experience in groundskeeping, caretaking or janitorial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and climb stairs regularly.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Keep property, management office, and landscaping clean by inspecting the property each morning and picking up trash.
• Keep mail rooms clean—sweep floors and remove dated notices.
• Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
• Replace all first-floor window screens upon request.
• Assist with apartment make-readies, including trashing vacant units and checking appliances.
• Clean air conditioning vents and replace filters in vacant apartments.
• Install and move appliances as needed.
• Replace air filters in occupied apartments.
• Clean pool area and straighten chairs.
• Perform light painting duties as directed.
• Clean vacant apartments between residents.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as needed.
