Job summary

New Earth Res is seeking a dependable grounds maintenance professional to help keep outdoor spaces clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained. The role supports the appearance and functionality of lawns, landscaped areas, walkways, and surrounding grounds through regular upkeep and seasonal care.

The position involves mowing, edging, trimming, weed removal, planting support, and basic repairs, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate common grounds tools safely.
• Basic knowledge of lawn and plant care and seasonal maintenance.
• Capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, landscaped areas, and common grounds via mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and debris removal.

• Assist with planting, watering, mulching, pruning, and other seasonal landscape tasks.
• Monitor grounds for safety concerns and report maintenance issues promptly.

This role is responsible for supporting the appearance and functionality of lawns, landscaped areas, walkways, and surrounding grounds through regular upkeep and seasonal care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, landscaped areas, and common grounds through mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and debris removal.
• Perform routine cleanup of outdoor spaces, including litter collection and surface sweeping as needed.
• Assist with planting, watering, mulching, pruning, and other seasonal landscape tasks.
• Monitor grounds for safety concerns, damaged areas, or maintenance issues and report findings promptly.
• Support snow and ice removal operations when required, including shoveling, salting, or other weather-related duties.
• Operate and care for grounds equipment and hand tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow established maintenance schedules and complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient way.
• Maintain storage areas, equipment rooms, and workspaces in an orderly condition.
• Assist with basic repairs and facility support tasks as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and others on-site to help maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general outdoor maintenance preferred.
• Ability to safely use common grounds tools and equipment.
