Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in Young Harris, GA is seeking a Grounds Keeper for the golf course. This seasonal, part-time role offers outdoors work maintaining greens, fairways, and landscaping, with opportunities to learn irrigation and turf care.

You will work April through October, with a schedule that supports outdoor labor, teamwork, and pride in keeping the course in top condition. The position emphasizes dependability, physical stamina, and attention to detail in a scenic mountain

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred; golf course experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of turf care, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors, including lifting, bending, and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, and maintain greens, fairways, roughs, and landscaped areas.
• Water, fertilize, and care for turf to maintain outstanding course conditions.
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and ornamental landscaping.
• Monitor, operate, and assist with irrigation systems.
• Help control weeds and pests to protect the health of the course.
• Safely operate and perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment.
• Report maintenance needs and assist in keeping the course in top condition.

Position Overview
