Job summary

Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper for our Golf Club property. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the beauty of our golf course through mowing, pruning, and landscaping.

The ideal candidate will have groundskeeping experience, strong teamwork and customer service skills, and enjoy working outdoors. This part-time role offers a wage of $17 – $18 per hour, along with weekly pay and on-demand access for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid and current Georgia driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course grounds, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping.
• Prepare and maintain soil, sod, and flower beds.
• Operate, clean, and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Assist members and guests with friendly service.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Piedmont Driving Club is seeking a Groundskeeper for our Golf Club property. In this role, you help maintain the beauty and playability of our golf course through daily grounds maintenance and landscaping activities. You take pride in caring for the course by mowing, pruning, laying sod, preparing soil, and maintaining flower beds. You will operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively while supporting a clean, polished, and welcoming environment for members and guests.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain golf course grounds, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and landscaping
• Prepare and maintain soil, sod, flower beds, and other landscaped areas
• Operate, clean, and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools
• Ensure the course, facilities, and work areas remain clean, safe, and well‑presented
• Assist members and guests with friendly and professional customer service
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks while following safety procedures and standards workflow, delegate responsibilities, and maintain an organized, efficient operation

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

• Wage: $17 – $18 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid and current Georgia driver’s license required
• Some high school education required; high school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, turf, or related outdoor maintenance experience preferred
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of golf course maintenance or country club operations is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
