SSC is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time GROUNDSKEEPER positions.

Location: Queens University of Charlotte - 1900 Selwyn Avenue Attn: SSC, Charlotte, NC 28274. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days may vary, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Job Summary: Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules and propagation. Responsible for caring for grasses and plants, trimming, pruning, removing scrubs, bushes, and trees. Performs janitorial duties, property inspections, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.

Essential Duties:

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Inspects common areas and grounds; reports deficiencies.
• Mows lawns weekly during the proper season; cleans tools and equipment.
• Trims bushes and weeds flowerbeds regularly.
• Shovels walkways and salts or sands icy areas in winter.
• Contributes to team and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.
