Job summary

Stinker is seeking a Groundskeeper to help maintain company-owned properties in Casper, WY. The role involves outdoor maintenance, minor repairs, and occasional travel within a district to multiple locations. Typical hours are 7am–7pm, with days including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

You will ensure facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming, supporting a fun, friendly work environment. Prior landscaping/maintenance experience is helpful and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping and light maintenance is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs. and work from floor to eye level.
• Must be 19 years of age or older and reliable for weekend/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including fueling islands and parking areas.
• Replace windshield washer fluid, towels, and keep dispensers tidy.
• Polish property by checking lights, signage, and air filters; perform minor repairs.
• Keep entryways and walkways free of debris; remove snow and ice as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning of dispensers, clean windows, and assist with minor repairs.
• Respond to snow/rain events by plowing, shoveling, and pumping water when required.

Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operations of company-owned assets, ensuring all facilities are in top shape. From Keeping the property polished, fixing up any issues as they arise, to performing minor repairs, an attention to detail helps create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff. This position does require some travel within a specific District at multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

• Clean fuel and oil spills, change liners, and empty trash from all outdoor cans, including those at fuel islands and parking areas, ensuring everything stays spick and span.
• Make sure everything receives the TLC it deserves by maintaining the car and diesel islands by replacing windshield washer fluid, replenishing towels, and keeping dispensers wiped down.
• Polish up the property by checking pole lights, signage, and providing necessary supply lists, while handling monthly tasks like pressure washing fuel islands and replacing air filters- “keeping it fresh” in every sense!
• Keep entryways, walkways, and pathways tidy, free from debris, weeds, and snow, ensuring safe and smooth travels year-round.
• Make sure everything is moving in the right direction by performing deep cleaning of dispensers, maintain outside windows, and handle minor repairs like replacing burnt-out lights and cleaning refrigeration coils.
• Respond to snow and rain events by plowing, shoveling, and pumping water from basins — so we are ready to weather any storm!

What You’ll Need

• Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).
• Effective time management, because there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!
• Solution focused thinking- You get 5 minutes to complain, then we kick tail!

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation in all seasons.
• Experience in landscaping and light maintenance is preferred.
• Able to spring into action on weekends and evenings, when needed, and shift gears quickly.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 80 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
• Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).
