Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Work independently and/or with maintenance team to police grounds, remove trash and debris.
2. Clean and maintain common areas and office space.
3. Assist in maintenance of parking lots and surfaces, including asphalt repairs and minor masonry.
4. Plant shrubs, trees, and flowers; prune as needed.
5. Work outdoors during inclement weather, shoveling and removing ice and snow.
6. Spray for weeds and insects using chemicals as required.
7. Attend all training sessions and participate in cross training as directed.
8. Maintain behavior and attitude consistent with a faith-based organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to operate hand tools for groundskeeping.
• Physical ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and lift 50-100 pounds.
• Proficiency with mobile phone for software use.
• Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and insurance.
• Ability to work with senior citizens, low-income families, and disabled populations.

Education/Training/Experience

High school diploma required. Experience as a custodian/groundskeeper or related trades preferred.
