Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and one year related experience required
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Maintain and preserve all flooring and/or covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and sweeping
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and associated fixtures
• Wash walls, windows and woodwork; dust desks and office furniture
• Collect and dispose of litter and trash in assigned buildings; sweep entrances and sidewalks
• Supervise students on center work support who are assigned custodial duties
• Provide positive, quality customer services to students, staff and other center customers
• Participate in student employability programs and activities
• Support, promote, and enforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy
• Promote the development of Career Success Standards by mentoring students and monitoring behaviors
• Maintain accountability of students and property; adhere to safety practices
