Responsibilities

• Ensure all community grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity areas, and dumpster areas are clean and debris-free.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, picking up trash, and removing litter.
• Maintain landscaping appearance by watering plants and removing weeds.
• Clean and sanitize common areas such as lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, and laundry rooms.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Assist in make-ready of vacant apartments by cleaning appliances and fixtures and ensuring move-in readiness.
• Assist maintenance team with inspections and repairs as directed; may include painting and minor repairs.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner; respond to inquiries timely.

SUMMARY

The Groundskeeper will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks in common areas, grounds, and vacant apartments, contributing to the overall upkeep and presentation of the property.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all community grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity areas, and dumpster areas are clean and free of debris.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, picking up trash, and removing litter.
• Maintain the appearance of landscaping, including watering plants and removing weeds.
• Clean and sanitize common areas such as lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, and laundry rooms.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least one year of experience in groundskeeping, porter services, or a related field.
