Job Description

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving site grounds. Assigned tasks include mowing, trimming, leaf removal, and duties related to inclement weather such as snow removal, which may vary by season.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $16.00 to $19.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the expected offer. This is Aramark’s good faith estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve grounds according to sustainability guidelines
• Implement landscaping designs to meet needs
• Perform tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, and ice removal
• Operate equipment including mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and sprayers
• Operate trucks, tractors, and attachments as needed
• Clean and maintain sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Follow safety policies and report malfunctions immediately

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or horticulture preferred
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license required
• Knowledge of groundskeeping principles and power landscape equipment
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Exposure to elements and extreme temperatures involved in the work

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
