Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Groundskeeper Assistant - Seasonal to help maintain Health Center grounds in an attractive, orderly condition. Responsibilities include trimming lawns, planting trees, and operating lawn care equipment.

This PRN role is not benefit eligible and pays based on experience, with compensation ranging from $16.54/hour to $25.24/hour. Department: Plant Operations; on-site work in Illinois.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Valid IL Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates, plants, waters, fertilizes, weeds, edges and trims turf areas, flower beds, shrubs and trees.
• Operates heavy construction equipment, dump truck, riding and push mowers, tillers, sweepers, edgers and other light yard equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs including fueling, lubricating and cleaning machinery.
• Performs lawn renovation including landscape construction of walls, patios, sidewalks and flower beds, and masonry work to upgrade and maintain the appearance and safety of the medical complex.
• Rakes, collects and disposes of leaves and refuse from the Health Center complex.
