Minimum Salary: $15.07 per hour
Type of Assignment: Non-Exempt
Mid-Point Salary: $18.07 per hour
Contract Status: At-Will
Funding: This position is locally funded.
Salary is determined on directly related experience supported by a service record or experience affidavit. Annualized pay may be pro-rated based on actual start date.
Position Summary: To assist in the attainment of District goals through the provision of effective and efficient grounds keeping services. Performs ongoing duties in the preparation and maintenance of all school grounds, facilities, fields and grounds equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Working Conditions:
Tools/Equipment Used: Operate all turf and lawn equipment, mowers, trucks, edgers, trailers, and other hand tools and hand powered equipment. Standard office equipment, including personal computer and peripherals.
Posture: Frequent standing, walking, bending/stooping, squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion: Repetitive hand motions, including shoveling, raking, occasional keyboarding/use of mouse; frequent reaching.
Lifting: Frequent heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, dragging or pulling objects (44 – 100 pounds).
Environment: Drive vehicle, exposure to chemicals, fumes; noise from vehicle and equipment operation, dust, dirt, oil/grease, gases, and pollen. May work prolonged or irregular hours, frequent districtwide travel.
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; work with frequent deadlines; maintain emotional control under stress.
