SGS Property Management LLC is looking for a reliable Groundskeeper / Apartment Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of multiple communities in NE Portland and the Gresham area. The role requires daily outdoor work, some light maintenance, and a focus on resident safety and comfort.

The position is full-time (40 hours) with travel between properties, background check required, and weather-ready for outdoor conditions. Competitive hourly pay and steady work are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to walk extensively throughout the day, including stairs.
• Able to lift and handle garbage bags into dumpsters.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Responsabilités

• Daily litter patrol throughout the property.
• Dog waste cleanup and monitoring at pet stations.
• Maintain and clean dumpster areas: organize waste and separate recyclables.
• Sweep and clean walkways, breezeways, and stairwells.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing and/or pressure washing surfaces.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Apartment Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of multiple apartment communities in the NE Portland and Gresham area.

Position overview

This role supports four separate properties and the ideal candidate must be comfortable traveling between locations. Millage reimbursement is provided

This role is for the day-to-day upkeep of the property’s grounds and common areas with some light maintenance. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

This role is a full time (40 hour) position with the company

Key Responsibilities

• Daily litter patrol throughout the property
• Dog waste (pet station) cleanup and monitoring
• Maintain and clean dumpster areas, including:
  • Organizing waste
  • Separating garbage and recyclables appropriately
• Sweeping and general cleaning of walkways, breezeways, and stairwells
• Deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing and/or pressure washing surfaces
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management
