A leading company in West Virginia is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker for the early day shift. The role involves various maintenance tasks including trimming, cutting grass, and performing repairs. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and may need to work weekends or holidays.
Under general supervision, duties include grounds maintenance, trimming trees, cutting grass, and cultivating plants and shrubs. Makes improvements to walks, lanes, sheds, and benches including painting and minor repairs. Performs preventive maintenance pertaining to grounds area. Requires frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. May be required to work from ladders, scaffolding, or from lift-truck. Performs other related work as required. A valid driver’s license is required. Some weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday) and holiday work is required. This position is an essential position and may require emergency call-outs. Pesticide applicator license is preferred but not required.
