Drucker + Falk, LLC is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter in the Town of Florida, New York, responsible for keeping the community clean, including offices, common areas, and the grounds.

Description du poste

The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for keeping the community clean and neat. Areas include offices, models, clubhouse, lobbies, laundry room, common areas and the grounds. They will perform all duties with the highest consideration for safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain time periods for daily tasks: cleaning of common areas, cleaning of vacant apartments, policing of grounds, grounds maintenance.
• Notify supervisor of completed work and prepare for inspection to ensure they meet Drucker + Falk standards.
• Maintain accurate records of time worked.
• Request purchase of necessary supplies through the Maintenance Superintendent/Property Manager without overstocking.
• Report any defects or deficiencies noted during work so the Maintenance Superintendent/Property Manager can order necessary repairs.
• Maintain the highest standards of resident relations.
• Perform duties as requested by the Maintenance Superintendent/Property Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Duties are performed both inside and outside, even in extreme temperatures below 32°F and above 100°F.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; frequently required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.
