Base pay range

$16.00/yr - $18.00/yr

Primary Function

The primary function of the Groundskeeper is to maintain a neat appearance in and around the Leasing Center and buildings on the property. The Groundskeeper follows all policies and procedures established by the Community Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Lockwood Management.

Typical Duties

• Sweep the sidewalks, curbs and parking lots daily and as needed to maintain professional appearance.
• Create and maintain a customer centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members and fellow community associates.
• Weed and trim shrubs and flower beds.
• Install mulch.
• Install signs when necessary.
• Paint interior of apartments and exterior of buildings as directed.
• If community has pool amenity, ensure timely opening, closing and proper maintenance and sanitation requirements and testing logs are maintained. Achieve pool certification in a timely manner.
• Remove trash, empty bins into proper outdoor containers, keep trash coral area clean.
• Make minor repairs as directed.
• Assist in completing make-ready apartments; including sweeping, cleaning and other tasks as directed.
• Snow removal as requested.
• Maintain clear lines of communication.
• All otherduties as assigned.
  
  

Skills and knowledge necessary for satisfactory performance includebut are not limited to:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral andwritten directions.
• Ability to walk, stand, squat and bend continually duringan 8 hour shift.
• Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds or more.
