Responsibilities

The Groundkeeper supports the overall appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the community by maintaining the exterior grounds, common areas, and property amenities. This role helps create a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members while ensuring the property reflects company standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a well-kept community.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the resident experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all shared spaces. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to be a key part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Complete requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property grounds, walkways, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks including trash removal, sweeping, debris cleanup, and seasonal preparation.
• Assist with light maintenance duties as assigned, including minor repairs and preventative upkeep.
• Support the maintenance team with property turns, inspections, and preparation of vacant units as needed.
• Monitor exterior lighting and report safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in an organized and safe manner.
• Follow company safety guidelines and ensure compliance with property standards.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents and team members.
• Assist with snow removal or weather-related preparation as required.
• Assist with light maintenance duties such as replacing air filters, minor touch-ups, and basic repairs.
• Assist in inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the community with a positive and courteous attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE:

• $20.00 per hour
• Annual Performance Bonus
• This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

• Schedule flexibility is required, including the ability to work weekends when necessary to meet property maintenance demands.
