Job summary

Equity Real Estate Management (EREM) is seeking a Property Groundskeeper to join our team in Lawton, OK. The role covers grounds maintenance, pool upkeep, building upkeep, and general property tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will inspect, clean, and repair exterior areas, operate equipment, and ensure safety compliance. On-call availability and a valid driver’s license are required. EREM offers two benefit plans and a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with pool operation and maintenance.
• Ability to clean, maintain, and paint buildings and exterior areas.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain grounds, buildings and equipment in a safe, clean condition.
• Notify Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager of emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Clean up trash, debris, and maintain grounds and parking areas.
• Maintain pool and pool equipment per schedule.
• Perform landscape and exterior repair tasks as needed.
• Assist with property-related tasks during business hours and emergencies.

Property Groundskeeper

Job Functions

• Assist in inspecting and maintaining the property, buildings and equipment in an attractive, clean and safe condition at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring that the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and
• Notify the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager immediately of any emergency conditions such as sewer backup, flooding and defective lighting.
• Follow all safety procedures including wearing safety and protective Report any safety hazards found and correct on a timely basis.
• Clean and remove all trash, obstacles and debris from grounds, parking lots, roads, amenity areas, plant beds, breezeways, stairwells and dumpster areas according to company standards.
• Dispose of all trash, obstacles and debris in containers
• Clean pool and maintain pool equipment on regular schedule established by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintenance responsibilities also include grounds keeping, painting, exterior repairs, landscape and irrigation tasks.
• Adhere strictly to the requirements of the Safety
• Assist with disturbances during business hours and other property emergencies whenever they occur.
• Attend company meetings, training and safety
• Perform other property related tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Skills

• Knowledge of basic swimming pool operation, cleaning and use of pool
• Ability to clean, maintain and paint buildings, vacant units, offices, driveways and walkways, and other areas of the property
• Ability to operate electrical and gas motorized equipment, including pool and spa pumps and equipment, mower, edger, blower, power washer and compactor
• Ability to operate golf carts
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to understand and carry out oral instructions
• Ability to read and carry out written instructions

Education, Training and Qualifications

• Excellent attitude
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to be available "on call" 24 hours, seven days per week

Salary/Wage

Hourly wage will depend on experience.

EREM offers two benefit plans to choose from. Our higher deductible option is 100% paid by EREM for the employee, along with dental and vision as well. Paid holidays and accruing PTO benefit also. Employees are eligible for health benefits after 60 days of employment.
