Job summary

Bay Converting Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking an entry-level facilities maintenance worker responsible for landscaping upkeep and routine repairs across the campus.

You will perform groundskeeping tasks, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and equipment checks, and operate light equipment such as a lawn mower or forklift as needed. Comfort with heights and extended hours required; safety policies followed.

Qualifications

Description

Entry level position maintaining existing landscaping for facilities. Performs routine light maintenance tasks in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting or other facilities repair.

Essential Functions:

• Perform routine grounds keeping, including but not limited to: grass cutting, weeding, spraying, pruning, tree removal, planting, trimming, pond maintenance, exterior debris pick-up, snow and pest removal,
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including but not limited to equipment cleaning and maintenance, painting, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry repair, filter changes, oil changes, heavy commercial cleaning, general facilities repair and maintenance.
• Perform monthly equipment checks.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and complies with company safety policies at all times.
• Operates equipment such as but not limited to fork/scissor lift and riding lawn mower, in the performance of the position responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, which can be extreme. The noise levels in the work environment are usually moderate.
