The University of North Texas System is seeking a Grounds Maintenance worker to enhance the beauty of campus grounds using hand and power tools. The role requires the upkeep of flowers, trees, shrubs, and grass while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the property.
Candidates should hold at least a high school diploma or GED, have two years of related experience, and possess a valid Texas driver's license. Experience in grounds maintenance is preferred for this position, which operates under a schedule from 6 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday.
UNT Health and Science Center grounds department is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, overall care and beautification of campus grounds. This includes all grass, trees, flowers, plants, parking garages, and parking lots.
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging and raking and sprinkler installation.
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
6 am-3 pm Mon - Fri.
