Job summary

ConcordRENTS in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a maintenance professional to upkeep grounds, amenities, and building exteriors to preserve curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

You will use equipment such as pressure washer, blower, and paint sprayer; perform irrigation repairs as needed; and respond to service requests with urgency, clarity, and care.

Daily duties include cleaning, trash removal, basic repairs, and helping move appliances. A High School diploma and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• MSDS sheets familiarity and ability to follow safety instructions.
• Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity reasons.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property grounds, amenities, and building exteriors.
• Cleans and sanitizes common areas, handles trash removal and trash bin maintenance.
• Cleans building exteriors, pressure washes surfaces, and maintains curb appeal.
• Tests irrigation systems and performs routine repairs as needed.
• Assists with moving appliances and minor interior/exterior repairs as directed.
• Notifies supervisor of safety hazards, supply needs and material replenishment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Works from check lists, service requests, prescribed routines, and instructions.
• Picks up trash, empties trash bins, and replaces trash bags. Moves trash to compactor and cleans, pressure washes, and sanitizes compactor and immediate area.
• Blows, sweeps, pressure washes, and cleans sides of buildings, stairs, and breezeways. Cleans light globes, removes cobwebs, and otherwise ensures the cleanliness of building exteriors and areas around and between buildings. Pressure washes building walls, breezeways, sidewalks, and other assigned areas.
• Cleans and scrubs pool and deck surfaces, and removes debris. Checks water and treats with prescribed chemicals under supervision or as certified to ensure that pool water characteristics are in compliance with prescribed standards.
• Rakes recreation areas and straightens signs and poles. Paints signs, speed bumps, street markings, and other miscellaneous areas as assigned. Tests irrigation systems and makes routine repairs as required.
• Assists to move appliances into and from apartments and to remove discarded personal belongings and trash left in vacated apartment homes. Makes keys as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain property grounds and notifies supervisor of safety hazards, property damage or unsightly conditions on grounds. Notifies supervisor of the need to replenish materials and supplies when low. Stores and maintains supplies and materials in keeping with procedures and standards.

Qualifications: Knowledge and Experience

Simple reference use of lists, service requests, MSDS sheets, and instructions, where interpretation is required.

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity reasons.
• Over two and up to three months required to be fully familiar with work routines.
